 [Miru’s Pokémon PT Walkthrough - Part 8] Pokémon Giratina Walkthrough – Snowpoint City (Seventh Badge)


In the last walkthrough, major incidents occurred at the three lakes.

This eighth part will summarize all those events and guide you through earning the seventh badge in Snowpoint City!


Order of This Pokémon PT Walkthrough

Lake Valor → Lake Verity → Mt. Coronet → Snowpoint City (Gym) → Lake Acuity → Veilstone City (Team Galactic HQ)


Lake Valor Incident

Lake Valor is close to Pastoria City!
You can quickly travel there using Fly.

At Lake Valor, most of the incident has already been resolved without any major battles.


Lake Verity Incident
Next destination: Lake Verity!
The nearest town is Twinleaf Town, 
so follow the walkthrough tip and fly there.

Arrive at Lake Verity!
Your rival is waiting, and after a battle, the incident wraps up.


Crossing Mt. Coronet to Reach Lake Acuity
To reach Lake Acuity, you first need to get to Snowpoint City, 
but the path is blocked.
So, take the route: Celestic Town → Mt. Coronet → Route 217 → Snowpoint City.

Arrive at the Mt. Coronet entrance!
Now that you can use Strength and Surf, new paths open up.

After passing through the mountain, you reach Route 217!

If you find a house in the snowy field, be sure to pick up (HM08) “Rock Climb.”
You can also obtain the Icicle Plate.


Arriving at Snowpoint City & Challenging the 7th Gym
You’ve arrived in Snowpoint City, 
but you can’t access Lake Acuity without Rock Climb!
First, you need to win the gym badge.

Your Gible evolves into Garchomp along the way!
The true dragon is born.

After healing, use the Shiny Stone to evolve Togetic into Togekiss!

Time to challenge the gym!
It specializes in Ice-types, and the main puzzle is sliding and breaking snowballs.

Battle with Gym Leader Candice!
It can be tough if you don’t have a Fire-type.

Seventh badge GET!!!

You can now use (HM08) “Rock Climb”!
You’ll also receive the TM “Avalanche” as a bonus.


Lake Acuity Incident (Rival’s Defeat…)
Upon arriving at Lake Acuity, your rival has already lost to Team Galactic…
The incident ends without a battle.


Infiltrating Team Galactic HQ in Veilstone City
A Team Galactic commander taunts you to come to their HQ in Veilstone City!
Follow the walkthrough route and head there immediately.

Head to the warehouse to find the Storage Key.

While searching the warehouse, you’ll obtain the Galactic Key.

Use the key to unlock all doors in the Team Galactic HQ and explore thoroughly.

Finally, face off against Team Galactic Boss Cyrus!

After winning the boss battle, you receive the Master Ball!

Deeper inside, you discover the lab where the three legendary lake Pokémon are held captive!
Defeat the Team Galactic commander and successfully rescue all three Pokémon!


Conclusion & Next Preview

The next destination is Mt. Coronet, and at last, your encounter with Giratina!
The next Pokémon PT Walkthrough will continue with the main story of catching Giratina.
