Now, let’s dive into Part 6 and conquer Pastoria City!


Challenge the Pastoria City Gym!

Upon arrival, do a quick checkup and head straight to the gym!

Arrived at the gym entrance!

All set and ready to challenge...

...As if that would happen...
No way it’s going down in one go. 
😭 Back to the Pokémon Center!

Reorganize and try again!
The gym specializes in Water-type Pokémon, as the guide helpfully mentions. 😊

The gym’s layout involves a unique water-pressure puzzle with buttons.
Paths appear and disappear as you press them. 
You’ll get the hang of it after a few tries!

Finally, facing the Gym Leader!

It was tougher than expected!
Even with Torterra and Rotom, which are strong against Water types...

But in the end, the fifth badge is ours!!!

Now we can use HM03 Surf!
But we don’t have the item yet, do we? Let’s go find it!

Bonus: We also got the TM Brine! 😊

An Incident?! Team Galactic Appears!
The story suddenly takes a sharp turn!
Your rival heads off for training… But why?

As expected, a Team Galactic incident begins!

Some back-and-forth occurs…
BOOM! 
Team Galactic starts their terroristic schemes!

Chasing after the fleeing Team Galactic!
These guys are surprisingly fast.

The chase ends where Champion Cynthia makes her appearance!
Your rival arrives a little too late.

You receive the Secret Medicine!
What’s it for, you ask?

To cure the Psyduck blocking the path in Solaceon Town!

Solaceon Town → Celestic Town
Head straight to Solaceon Town!

Thanks to the Secret Medicine, the Psyduck disperse, opening up a new path. 😊

Suddenly… a request?!

No big deal~
It’s on the way to Celestic Town anyway!

Climbing mountains, crossing waters…
Finally, we arrive at Celestic Town’s entrance!

Celestic Town Exploration & Team Galactic Trouble
Take a look around Celestic Town.

As expected… Team Galactic is here to cause trouble again!

Suspicious conversations… leading to…

A classic villain introduction?!

Battle with Team Galactic boss Cyrus!
Surprisingly manageable!

HM03 Surf Obtained & Next Destination
Finally, the long-awaited HM Surf is ours!
Now that we have the fifth badge, we can use it!


The next destination is Canalave City, but Cynthia suggests taking a detour through Hearthome City.

Since we can’t go straight to Canalave City, let’s fly to Hearthome City first!
