This episode covers the journey from Hearthome City, 

through Solaceon Town, to Veilstone City!

In front of the gate to Solaceon Town...
Your rival appears! Another battle, huh?

Defeat them easily! We're strong, after all. 😊

"I'm heading to Solaceon Town too!" Let's go!

Don't forget to grab the Good Rod and TM Steel Wing!
NPCs will give them to you, so make sure to talk to them.

The tower nearby has no special rewards in Platinum.
It does have some items, but we'll skip it for this guide.

Arrived at Solaceon Town!
At the entrance, Psyducks are blocking the path. 😂
You'll deal with them later during an event, so just ignore them for now.

Make sure to pick up TM66 Payback as well!

The path isn't too difficult.
You'll reach Veilstone City in no time!

Pass through the gate and arrive in Veilstone City!


Exploring Veilstone City & Gym Challenge!
Shall we head straight to the gym?

Wait, why is the Hearthome City Gym Leader here?
Just a short story event!

You can't miss Veilstone City's highlight:
the Pokémon Department Store! Let's shop!

Choose your preferred style to customize your moves!

Now, it's time for the real gym challenge!

But beware: this gym can be quite annoying.
The layout is complex... 
it feels like a fitness center.

But wait!!!
Staravia evolves into Staraptor!!
And it learns the amazing move Close Combat upon evolution. The best! 💪

The gym puzzle involves pushing sandbags to clear tires.
Take your time—it's not too hard.

Finally, the Gym Leader appears!

This gym specializes in Fighting-type Pokémon.
Use Flying or Psychic-types for an easy win!

4th badge GET!!!

You can now use the HM02 Fly!

As a bonus, you also receive TM Drain Punch!

but the reward isn’t great, so we’ll skip it.

Make sure to pick up TM Trick Room!
