Pokémon Black & White Episode 8 – Mistralton City Sixth Badge Walkthrough
1. Entering Chargestone Cave & Encounter with N
- As you enter Chargestone Cave, Team Plasma’s boss N appears, speaks briefly, and leaves.
- Deeper inside the cave, Bianca and Professor Juniper appear—she gives you a Lucky Egg!
- Lucky Egg is a valuable item that boosts EXP gain when held. Don’t forget to use it!
- Later, Juniper and Bianca reappear. A surprise “kidnapping” turns out to just be helpful NPCs showing you the way.
- Use the descending path to navigate easily toward the exit. Near the end of the cave, battle N again!
- Win the battle against N and exit Chargestone Cave—you’ve reached Mistralton City!
2. Arriving in Mistralton City & Move Relearning
- Inside the city is a Move Reminder, where you can relearn forgotten moves or delete HMs.
- Professor Juniper upgrades your Pokédex!
- The 6th Gym Leader appears and asks for help with a local situation.
3. Journey to the Celestial Tower
- Head toward the Celestial Tower to help investigate.
- Along the way, a house offers a Pokémon trade: trade an Emolga for a Gigalith—great for Pokédex completion!
- Inside the Celestial Tower, you’ll find many trainers (good for EXP) and lots of items.
- Ring the bell at the top and Fly back to town to save time.
4. Mistralton City Gym Challenge
- The Gym is up the runway to the left side of town—head straight in to start your sixth badge challenge.
- This Gym uses Flying-type Pokémon. If you don’t have Electric-types, train and power through instead!
- After defeating the Gym Leader, receive your Sixth Badge and the TM "Acrobatics"—a great Flying move.
5. Post-Gym Event with N & Plasma’s Plans
- After exiting the Gym, N appears again. He reveals he can communicate with Pokémon and shares Team Plasma’s goals—key story moment!
6. Setting Off Toward Icirrus City
- You’ll head toward Icirrus City next, passing through Twist Mountain. On the way, expect a call from your mom!
Tips & Strategy
- Lucky Egg: Given by Juniper in Chargestone Cave—great for leveling up quickly.
- N Battle: N awaits you at the cave exit—ensure your team is ready for a real fight.
- Move Relearning: Mistralton City offers services to relearn or delete HM moves—very convenient.
- Celestial Tower: Excellent for farming EXP and getting useful items. Use Fly on your way down!
- Gym Strategy: Flying-type Gym. Electric-types like Zebstrika are best, but grinding works too. Acrobatics TM is well worth it.
- N’s Reveal: After the Gym, N deepens the story by sharing intentions of Team Plasma—expect rising conflict ahead.
