Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 Walkthrough

Flying to Striaton City

To catch Latios (Black 2) or Latias (White 2), first Fly to Striaton City.

Heading Into the Dreamyard

From Striaton City, head north into the Dreamyard.

First Encounter at the Entrance

Upon entering, you’ll encounter either Latios (Black 2) or Latias (White 2), depending on your version.

Chasing Latios/Latias

The Pokémon will flee deeper into the Dreamyard. Follow their trail through the ruins—after repeating this process, you’ll eventually corner them.

Save Before the Real Battle

Always save your game before the final encounter. If something goes wrong, you can reset and try again.

Final Battle Begins!

This time, Latios/Latias will not flee. Inflict Sleep or Paralysis to improve your chance of capture.

Capture Success!

Bring plenty of Ultra Balls, Dusk Balls, or Timer Balls. A Master Ball works, but it’s better saved for other Legendaries.

Special Item Reward

Don’t forget to pick up the special item obtained after catching Latios/Latias.

Extra Exploration in the Dreamyard

Search for hidden items scattered around the Dreamyard ruins—there are valuable TMs and treasures to collect.
