Clear Red → Professor Oak’s gift → Silver Wing → Whirl Islands!

1️⃣ Receiving the Gift at Professor Oak’s Lab

After defeating Red, return home first.
Fly to Pallet Town and visit Professor Oak’s Lab!
This event is only available to players who have cleared Red!
Professor Oak’s special gift: Choose one of the three Gen 1 starters!
💧 Squirtle
🌱 Bulbasaur
🔥 Charmander (My choice!)

Charmander → Charmeleon → Charizard, completing the full evolution line is so satisfying!

2️⃣ Essential Preparation: Silver Wing

❗ Key Item: Silver Wing (old man in Pewter City)
If you don’t have it yet, make a U‑turn back to Pewter City!

3️⃣ Summoning Lugia at the Whirl Islands

Head to Cianwood City!
Use Surf to go straight to the Whirl Islands.
Inside the islands, hand over the Silver Wing to the elder.

After Professor’s inspection, you receive permission to proceed!

Lugia appears right before your eyes! 🌊
