In the last part, we cleared the Eterna City Gym, right?

Before we dive deeper into the main storyline,

there’s a great place to make a quick stop—

a side episode where we catch the mythical Pokémon Rotom

in Eterna Forest!

🌲 The Way Back to Eterna Forest

After getting your badge from the Eterna City Gym,

head back toward Eterna Forest.

Once inside, you’ll meet Gardenia, the Gym Leader, again!

🏚️ Exploring the Old Chateau

Use HM01 Cut to open up a path,

and you’ll find the suspicious house: The Old Chateau.

Inside, you can grab various valuable items!

🍬 Rare Candy, 🍡 Old Gateau, 🪙 Spooky Plate, 🌀 TM Substitute

These alone make the visit worthwhile!

📺 Rotom Encounter Conditions

Head to the room with the TV.

But there’s a specific condition for encountering Rotom!

✅ Condition: Game time must be after 8 PM

🕗 Before then, nothing happens at the TV!

⚡ Rotom Appears & Capture Time

If the time is right, the TV will react in a strange way…

And then…

the mythical Pokémon Rotom appears!

Enter battle and catch Rotom,

an Electric/Ghost-type Pokémon!

Rotom is useful during the main storyline

and can later change forms,

becoming even more powerful!

📝 Wrap-Up

For now, you can only catch base form Rotom,

but I’ll be posting a separate guide later

on how to unlock and change its forms ^^

Although not part of the main story,

this detour lets you collect both great items

and a mythical Pokémon—what a hidden gem!
