[PT Walkthrough - Part 15] Legendary Birds (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres)


Did you complete the Sinnoh Pokédex in the previous guide?

Now the real legendary Pokémon hunt begins!

Today's goal is:

✨ Articuno / Zapdos / Moltres! ✨

All three are roaming the Sinnoh region now.


Walkthrough

The adventure starts at Sandgem Town!
Remember Professor Rowan asking you to visit Pal Park? 🏞️

Cross to the right of the town and you’ll arrive at Pal Park right away.

In Pal Park, you can bring Pokémon from previous generations into the Platinum version!
(For example: Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, etc.)

Don’t forget to pick up the Pokétch Counter app along the way! 📱

After exploring Pal Park, move to Eterna City!
Go inside this house~

Here, you’ll get information about Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
All three are now roaming somewhere in Sinnoh!

When you go outside, you can see the locations of the three roaming Pokémon using the Pokétch app!
Now, keep moving back and forth across route borders
until Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres comes near you.
Example: “Route 201 ↔ Route 202”

If you repeat this, Articuno will come close!
Enter the grass for a random chance to encounter a roaming Pokémon!
⚠️ Roaming Pokémon flee very easily, so use Mean Look + False Swipe, or status moves like Sleep/Poison for better capture odds!

Use the same method to lure Moltres!

Finally, check the map and guide Zapdos to you!

All three have excellent stats and amazing designs!
Plus, the roaming system makes catching them even more thrilling!

Quick Tips

Check roaming locations with the Pokétch map! 🗺️

Move back and forth at route borders.

Enter the grass to trigger encounters.

Use moves to prevent fleeing: Mean Look, False Swipe, Sleep, Poison, etc.

Recommended Poké Balls: Quick Ball → Hyper Ball/Timer Ball!
